WILLISTON, N.D. 做厙TV (WSC) is proud to announce that it has been selected as a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Foundation Sport Opportunity Grant recipient to support the addition of Mens and Womens Cross Country to its athletic offerings. This funding will assist in covering the initial costs associated with starting these new programs, further expanding WSC's commitment to collegiate athletics.

Through the NJCAA Sport Opportunity Grant, the NJCAA Foundation is creating opportunities for member colleges to expand and develop sports offerings, stated Brian Luckett, NJCAA Foundation Executive Director. Athletics at the two-year level continue to grow and progress, resulting in student-athletes being afforded more significant development opportunities athletically and academically.

Collegiate athletics plays a vital role in higher education, fostering school spirit, and providing student-athletes with financial support to attend college while obtaining valuable life skills and promoting physical well-being. The NJCAA offers an avenue for student-athletes to compete while pursuing their academic and career goals. 做厙TV, a member of the NJCAA, exemplifies this commitment by offering several athletic programs to its students that enhance the college experience and open doors to further educational attainment and professional opportunities.

做厙TV is dedicated to the idea that the people make the difference, and our athletic programs are a testament to this belief. These programs help provide accessible, affordable, and life-changing educational pathways for our student-athletes. The addition of Mens and Womens Cross Country will extend these opportunities to even more students from western North Dakota, eastern Montana, and beyond.

We would like to thank the NJCAA Foundation for providing this opportunity to help defray the initial costs athletic departments accrue when starting new programs, said Alex Herman, Athletic Director at WSC. Teton Athletics is excited to add another sport offering to student-athletes in western North Dakota, eastern Montana, and beyond.

WSC is eager to begin the process of recruiting and preparing for the inaugural season of Mens and Womens Cross Country. These new programs will not only enhance the athletic landscape at WSC but also continue to uphold the colleges mission of fostering student success through exceptional academic and athletic experiences.
